At their recent quarterly meeting, the board of directors for Anishinabe Legal Services recently named Cody Nelson as Executive Director. Cody Nelson will be joining ALS fulltime in January 2017.
Cody graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in
2006. Cody is a licensed attorney in
Minnesota as well as the tribal courts of Red Lake, White Earth, Mille Lacs, and
Leech Lake. He had been appointed to the board of directors for BI-CAP of Beltrami and Cass County from March
2009 to February 2016.
